Lynchburg • A
Step Back In Time!
The
proud home of "Jack
Daniel's", the nation's oldest
registered distillery.
There are many wonderful, historic
points of interest, as well as Shopping, Entertainment, Great Food and
an Enjoyable Adventure for everyone. |
|
In the center of
town, known as "The Square," stands
the beautiful historic Court House. Surrounding
the Square are many unique, character-filled shops and restaurants. During
business hours, it is common to hear the sound of music coming from
various shops and you will find everything from Jack Daniel's collectibles
and handicrafts of all kinds, to antiques from the Civil War. While shopping,
you won't be able to resist the aroma of BBQ wafting through the Square.
Take a break from your
strolling to sit on a bench and take in the views. There's sure to be a
local resident sitting nearby, possibly whittling .....probably just relaxing,
but for certain, he or she willl tell you a few things about Lynchburg. Or
you can catch the Lynchburg Taxi, a horse drawn buggy with Miss Candy
Richard at
the
controls and
Kelly providing the Horse Power! Candy and Kelly will take you on a
tour of the Lynchburg area and fill
you in on the details of
just about
anything
you want
to know.
So sit back
and let your fingers do the walking through Lynchburg and
"Y'all Come See Us When You
Can!"
